Full job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and maintaining compliance with general accounting practises and regulations for our group entities. If you have a strong background in accounting, expertise in Zoho Books, and a passion for financial management, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Daily accounting of transactions, including stock inward and outward.
- Reconciliation of vendors and customers accounts.
- Processing payments to vendors and managing salary payments.
- Conducting month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Preparing income tax returns and ensuring timely tax filings.
- Filing and reconciling GST returns.
- Collaborating with auditors for annual audits and implementing their recommendations.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Expertise in Zoho Books and Quickbooks Online
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including GST
- Proficiency in GST return filing and income tax return preparation.
