Full job description
Mishorim Gold Properties is seeking a full-time Real Estate bookkeeper responsible for general financial duties, accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger for all assigned properties as well as day to day accounting. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, etc...
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Posting General entries
- Making daily bank adjustments
- Responsibility over account payables
- Building and distributing a weekly collection report for landlord
- Initiating payments
- Involved in the process of tenant CAM adjustments
- Providing various reports to Landlord and management
- Involved in preparation of the properties financial reporting.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
SkillsCandidate should have the following qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in bookkeeping (preferably In the field of yielding properties e.g. involving recording of rent collection, tenant payments, property expenses, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs to include ability to set up Excel spreadsheets using formulas and function keys
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in the finance department and management team
- Must be detailed oriented, organized, able to multitask and have effective time management skills
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: >2 years (Required)
- Yardi Voyager 7 experience
Visa Sponsorship: Yes, for approved candidates wishing to work on-site
