Role Summary
We are seeking highly driven Business Development Managers to spearhead commercial sales initiatives in key metro markets. The role focuses on acquiring and nurturing B2B partnerships with corporate offices, hospitality brands (hotels, restaurants, cafes), co-working spaces, and real estate developers for fixed and loose furniture solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and target new B2B opportunities in the assigned region.
Generate and convert leads from corporate clients, hospitality chains, architects, interior designers, and developers.
Develop proposals, conduct presentations, and drive negotiations.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
Act as a single point of contact for project scoping, customizations, pricing, and timelines.
Ensure high-touch engagement through regular updates, site visits, and follow-ups.
Project Coordination
Liaise with internal teams (design, production, logistics) for timely order processing and deliveries.
Track sales funnel and report progress in CRM systems.
Ensure smooth post-sales support and client satisfaction.
Market Intelligence
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
Identify emerging sectors or geographies for expansion.
Participate in exhibitions, trade events, and networking forums.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Sales, Design Management, or related fields.
8+ years of B2B sales experience in furniture, interiors, architecture, real estate, or hospitality sectors.
Strong network of architects, designers, PMC firms, and procurement heads.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and meet aggressive targets.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in project-based or turnkey furniture sales.
Understanding of contract furniture pricing, logistics, and delivery timelines.
Customer-first mindset with attention to detail and design sensibility.
