Job Description:

Psittacus is seeking dedicated and passionate Online tutors for Digital Marketing & Web Development to join our expanding team. As an Online Digital Marketing & Web Development Tutor, you will play a crucial role in nurturing students' Branding and Marketing skills and fostering a love for learning.

You will provide personalized instruction to students aged 9-18, focusing on international curricula, including IGCSE, IB, SABIS, A-Level, and AS-Level Digital Marketing & Web Development. Utilizing your expertise, creativity, and digital teaching proficiency, you will deliver engaging and interactive online lessons tailored to diverse learning styles, helping students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction & Curriculum Development:

Deliver engaging online Digital Marketing & Web Development lessons to the students , ensuring alignment with ongoing social media trends and international curricula (IGCSE, IB, SABIS etc.).
Develop and implement personalized lesson plans that cater to each student’s learning pace, style, and goals.
Design and curate high-quality learning resources, including interactive activities, multimedia presentations, and assessments, to enhance the online learning experience.
Stay updated on curriculum developments and best practices in Digital Marketing & Web Development education.

Student Engagement & Support:

Foster an encouraging and inclusive online learning environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Provide individualized feedback and guidance, motivating students to excel academically and build confidence in their mathematical abilities.
Encourage a growth mindset by helping students embrace challenges and develop resilience in problem-solving.

Communication & Collaboration:

Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and the Psittacus team, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Collaborate with fellow tutors and staff to share best practices, contribute to curriculum development, and enhance the overall learning experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Essential:

Master’s degree or Equallent in Digital Marketing & Web Developmentfrom an accredited institution.
Minimum of one year of experience in online teaching, preferably with students following international curricula.
Native or near-native fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should have good understanding of Content creation as well.
Strong understanding of pedagogical approaches and best practices in online education.
Proficiency in online teaching tools and platforms, including interactive whiteboards, digital pens, and multimedia resources.
Ability to create dynamic and interactive learning experiences that promote critical thinking and a love for the subject.

Desirable:

Experience teaching IGCSE, IB, or SABIS curricula.
Proficiency in using a variety of online teaching tools and platforms.
You should have stable WiFi Internet connection, Laptop with WebCam, and Pentab device.

Additional Information:

A minimum commitment of 6 months or the duration of the current academic year is required for enrolled students (whichever is longer).
