Function Description:
American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payment issuer and partner for businesses with products and services to help them run and grow their businesses. The GCS Product Analytics team plays a pivotal role within GCS Product Organization by advanced analytics to gain deep insights into client behavior. Our mission is to inform and shape product strategies and deliver connected, personalized experiences that foster deeper client engagement and drive balanced, profitable growth.
The Digital Measurement & Analytics (DMA) team is a part of GCS Product Analytics team and delivers digital analytics and insights for the GCS suite of digital products & platforms. The team is responsible for innovating and implementing changes the process to measure and understand the customer behavior towards our digital tools. This will be achieved through a close collaboration with the digital product teams, marketing, servicing and technologies.
Purpose of the Role
Deliver actionable insights for GCS Digital Experiences by democratizing digital data, measuring product performance, conducting customer behavior deep dives and go-to-market segmentations. The role requires exhibiting a high level of expertise in driving decisions backed by data insights, strategic and advanced analytics, and data techniques. They will drive improvements in generating data driven actionable strategies to enable business growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic analytics focused on the product roadmap for @ Work, a Digital servicing tool for PAs
- Define KPIs to measure the efficiency of digital channels/products and develop customer segmentation to drive “adoption, engagement and revenue” for AXP customers
- Empower data driven decisions in product development by providing actionable insights
- Uplift the data visualization by creating meaningful and insightful reports using powerful visualization techniques and infographic tools.
- Build and nurture a highly engaged and strong performing team that has right blend of subject knowledge, collaboration and focus on driving business results
- Put enterprise thinking first, connect the role’s agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders.
- Lead with an external perspective, challenge status quo and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings
- Build partnerships with internal business partners such as Product, Technologies, Field, Servicing, Finance and Marketing.
Qualification
- Advanced degree in business administration, computer science, IT or Information management from premium institutes preferred
- 6-10 years of experience in data analytics, digital product & business intelligence
- Strong strategic thought leadership and problem-solving skills with ability to solve unstructured and complex business problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and storytelling skills at multiple organizational levels
- Ability to build & leverage relationships and influence broadly across the organization
- Results driven with strong project management stills, ability to work on multiple priorities and ensure track to exceed team goals
Technical & Analytical Skills/Capabilities
- Cornerstone, SQL, HIVE, Python, Machine Learning
- Adobe Analytics, Clickstream
- Business Intelligence & Visualization Tools - Tableau
- Basic understanding of Agile product development
