Test Analyst / Automation Engineer (3-8 Years Experience)

We are looking for QA engineers and Test analysts with excellent analytical skills and great English communication (both written and spoken). The candidate needs to be able to extrapolate potential end-user behavior given a certain scenario/parameters, have a sense of curiosity (“what if I do this…”) when testing. The candidate should be detail-oriented and always ready to question one’s own assumptions, as well as that of the developer’s. Needs to be comfortable communicating complex ideas via email and proficient in creating client-ready (IT audience) documentation. Needs to be flexible in testing system – we may use a variety of modern tools to carry out functional and load testing and to manage, track test cases and bugs.

Location: Chennai, Bangalore (or Work from Home, Remotely)

Job Responsibilities:

– Ability to follow detailed instructions
– Analyze the product and formulate test scenarios ensuring that key product areas have been covered
– Defect Tracking (reporting, retesting, reopening and closure)
– Troubleshoot, test and maintain test cases covering core product software and database
– Contribute in all phases of the QA testing life cycle
– Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly

Job Requirements:

– 3-8 years of QA testing experince (manual testing and test automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Appium, Jmeter, TestNG etc)
– Demonstrable knowledge of at least one test management tools like TestRail, ApTest Manager, BaseCamp, Rally, Asana, Assembla, Trello, Google Docs, MS Excel etc
– Good Knowledge of at least one defect management and tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, Rally, BugHost, Asana, Assembla, Trello , BugTracker, Google Docs, MS Excel etc
– Good knowledge of relational databases, mobile technologies and web services
– Some exposure and understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Lean methodologies
