Full job description
We are looking for a Technical Content Writing Intern with a strong grasp of SEO, keyword research, and AI-assisted content optimization to create high-quality, authoritative articles in the health and wellness niche. This role is ideal for someone who can merge medical accuracy with SEO-driven writing strategies to maximize content reach and ranking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research & SEO Optimization: Utilize tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner to identify high-ranking keywords and create content accordingly.
- AI-Assisted Writing: Leverage ChatGPT, SurferSEO, Jasper, or other AI tools to generate drafts, enhance readability, and optimize for search engines while ensuring originality and accuracy.
- Technical & Data-Driven Writing: Use scientific research, medical journals (PubMed, WHO, CDC, etc.), and authoritative sources to create fact-based health articles.
- Content Structuring: Write well-organized, engaging, and reader-friendly blogs incorporating LSI keywords, NLP-based structuring, and schema markup for better ranking.
- On-Page SEO Implementation: Optimize meta titles, descriptions, header tags (H1, H2, H3), alt texts, and internal linking to improve content visibility.
- Trend Analysis & Competitor Research: Analyze top-ranking health blogs, understand Google’s E-E-A-T principles, and craft content that aligns with the latest algorithm updates.
- Plagiarism & Grammar Checks: Ensure 100% unique content using Copyscape, Grammarly, and Hemingway Editor to maintain quality.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Nutrition, Pharmacy, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of SEO writing techniques, keyword placement, and content optimization.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, etc.) and SEO platforms (SurferSEO, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
- Ability to conduct in-depth research and translate complex health topics into engaging, simple-to-understand content.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and Google Search Console is a plus.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and time-management skills.
