About the role

We are seeking a proactive and driven Accountant to join our expanding Closing & Reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing month-end and year-end financial closing procedures, as well as ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting data in SAP and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) systems. As a key member of our global shared services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting, monitoring, and coordinating financial accounting processes. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing efforts in transforming our finance organization into a digitalized model.

Reporting line: Sr. Advisor, Closing & Reporting
Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform the monthly close process and support the financial & regulatory reporting.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system monthly.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by providing requested financial information, explanations, and documentation to internal or external auditors.
- Contribute to day-to-day problem-solving and long-term business improvement.
- Coordinate and support various improvement initiatives and projects in collaboration with various teams
What you’ll bring
We're looking for someone who:
- Is committed to the safety of yourself and your team?
- Has a university degree in Business finance or Accounting or CA/CPA?
- Has 5-7 years of relevant work experience?
- Brings functional knowledge and experience of working with SAP and HFM as end user.
- Brings functional knowledge and experience of working with Blackline/Cadency for reconciliation/close task as end user.
- Strong technical skills in MS Office suite and Excel skills
- Bring strong analytical skills.
- Experience or strong interest towards digital tools such as Power BI, Power App,
- Is curious with a desire to dive into things and, if something seems off, figure out what’s going on.
- Is courageous in embracing new ways of doing things and carrying Lean six sigma/continuous Improvement mind set.
- Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment.
