About the role

We are seeking a proactive and driven Accountant to join our expanding Closing & Reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing month-end and year-end financial closing procedures, as well as ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting data in SAP and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) systems. As a key member of our global shared services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting, monitoring, and coordinating financial accounting processes. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing efforts in transforming our finance organization into a digitalized model.

Reporting line: Sr. Advisor, Closing & Reporting

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Perform the monthly close process and support the financial & regulatory reporting.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system monthly.
Provide support during internal and external audits by providing requested financial information, explanations, and documentation to internal or external auditors.
Contribute to day-to-day problem-solving and long-term business improvement.
Coordinate and support various improvement initiatives and projects in collaboration with various teams

What you’ll bring

We're looking for someone who:

Is committed to the safety of yourself and your team?
Has a university degree in Business finance or Accounting or CA/CPA?
Has 5-7 years of relevant work experience?
Brings functional knowledge and experience of working with SAP and HFM as end user.
Brings functional knowledge and experience of working with Blackline/Cadency for reconciliation/close task as end user.
Strong technical skills in MS Office suite and Excel skills
Bring strong analytical skills.
Experience or strong interest towards digital tools such as Power BI, Power App,
Is curious with a desire to dive into things and, if something seems off, figure out what’s going on.
Is courageous in embracing new ways of doing things and carrying Lean six sigma/continuous Improvement mind set.
Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment.
