ROLE: POLITICAL RESEARCH ANALYST

ABOUT THE ROLE: Pepup HR is hiring a sharp, detail-oriented Research Analyst(Non-Political background) for our Hyderabad team. You'll connect with socio-political stakeholders over calls to gather insights on public sentiment, current issues, and political developments. Your key task: deliver daily, actionable reports to guide political strategy. Ideal for those passionate about politics, skilled in research, and strong in communication and analysis.

− Location: Full-time, in-office role based in Hyderabad

− Compensation: Upto ₹40,000 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

− Initiate and conduct telephonic conversations with socio-political influencers, journalists, local leaders, and ground-level stakeholders.

− Collect qualitative and quantitative inputs on current public issues, political trends, leadership perceptions, and voter sentiment.

− Summarize findings into daily reports with actionable insights for internal teams.

− Track political developments and regional trends across Hyderabad and Telangana, ensuring accuracy by validating information from multiple sources. Maintain a growing network of local informants and opinion leaders for continuous insights.

− Support the strategy team with ad-hoc analysis and thematic briefs as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

− Graduate from a Tier 1 college (e.g., Delhi University, JNU, TISS, IITs, IIMs, Ashoka, Azim Premji University, NLS, etc.).

− Minimum 6 months of experience in Quantitative & Qualitative research, journalism, public policy, or related domains with political knowledge.

− Proficient in English and Telugu (spoken and written).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

− Strong understanding of Indian politics, especially Telangana’s political landscape.

− Excellent telephonic communication and interpersonal skills.

− Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize qualitative data.

− Skilled in writing clear, concise, and insight-driven reports.

− Highly organized with a disciplined approach to documentation and reporting.

− Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.
