Job Description

We are seeking highly experienced and dynamic Programming Teachers to join our remote team. The ideal candidates will have a robust background in software development combined with significant teaching expertise. As a Programming Teacher at Augment Edutech, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive course content, guiding students through hands-on projects, and ensuring that they gain the practical skills needed to succeed in the industry.

Areas of Expertise

We are hiring specialists in the following domains:

Python: Including Game Development using libraries such as Pygame, Arcade, as well as AI and ML applications.
Web Development: Proficiency in HTML & CSS.
Game Development: Experience with Python-based game development, Unity, and Roblox.
Java: Strong command over Java programming and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development: Create detailed lesson plans, slides, and projects that emphasize practical, real-world applications.
Instruction: Deliver live online classes using interactive teaching methods that encourage student participation.
Student Evaluation: Assess student performance through project reviews, assignments, and real-time evaluations.
Mentorship: Provide ongoing guidance and support to help students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and continuously enhance course materials to maintain relevance and rigor.
Collaboration: Work with the curriculum development team to integrate new technologies and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience

Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in relevant technology domains.
Teaching Experience: At least 5 years of teaching experience, preferably with a focus on practical, project-based learning.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in at least one of the specified areas (Python, Web Development, Game Development, Java) with a proven track record of using these technologies in real-world scenarios.
Communication Skills: Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Remote Teaching Setup: A well-equipped home office setup including a high-performance workstation, webcam, laptop, high-speed internet, and a pen tablet (pentab).
