Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Data Analyst to bolster CenterPoint Group's procurement operations.

Responsibilities

Gather criticial data from a variety of customers and supplier websites, including contracts, invoices and reporting data
Organize and analyze data for Project Managers to facilitate analysis of spend by supplier.
Research new and existing suppliers, evaluate their performance metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations.
Benchmark product information and pricing across a diverse range of suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Propose strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement process.
Collaborate with the procurement team to monitor contract compliance and supplier performance.
Present data-driven reports to stakeholders, facilitating informed strategic decisions.
Stay updated on procurement industry trends and integrate this knowledge into analyses.
Support all areas of the organization, including but not limited to Sales, Operations, and executive leadership.

Requirements & Skills

Proficiency in detailed data analysis, with an understanding of data structure and content.
Expertise in Excel and web based project management tools.
Organization skills that promote strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Ability to interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques, providing ongoing reports.
Skill in identifying and defining new process improvement opportunities.
Competence in working with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Strong ability to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders/clients using visualization tools and reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to take direction and work independently.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields will be considered a plus.
US based business references will be considered a plus.
