Full job description
Job Role: Online Tutor Science 6th grade to 12th grade ICSE,CBSE, State-Kannada teacher
Job Location : WFH
Key Responsibilities (Online Tutor):
* Deliver engaging and effective online tutoring sessions that support students' academic progress and enhance their understanding of subject-specific concepts.
* Use a variety of digital tools and teaching strategies to create an interactive, student-centered virtual learning environment.
* Personalize instruction based on each student's learning style, pace, and academic needs to improve comprehension and retention.
* Collaborate with academic teams to align tutoring sessions with curriculum goals and learning outcomes.
* Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their development and academic performance.
* Track and report student progress, identifying areas of difficulty and adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
* Stay current with best practices in online education, digital tools, and subject-area knowledge to ensure high-quality tutoring.
* Communicate regularly with students and parents (if applicable) to discuss progress, address concerns, and reinforce learning goals.
* Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional online presence to foster student motivation and confidence.
* Participate in team meetings, peer learning opportunities, and continuous development initiatives to enhance tutoring effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational & Professional Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related subjects.
2. Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in a hybrid academic-marketing role.
3. Strong understanding of the core subject and prepare own teaching material
Technical Proficiencies :
* Familiarity with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams).
* Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital collaboration tools.
* Familiarity with digital Pentab and other digital tools
Soft Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Creative thinking with a knack for integrating attentive classes and interactive sessions.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
