Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver live, 1-on-1 online math tutoring sessions to US students (Grades K–12).
- Teach basic arithmetic to advanced algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus based on student level.
- Use digital tools like whiteboards and shared screens for effective teaching.
- Customize teaching approach to suit each student’s learning style.
- Maintain regular progress reports and provide feedback to students/parents as needed.
- Be punctual and professional in all sessions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge in school-level math (K–12).
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred (especially with US curriculum).
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Comfortable working night shifts (to align with US time zones).
- Reliable internet connection and a working laptop/PC with webcam and mic.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with US Common Core or other US math standards.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools like Zoom, Google Meet, etc.
