Job Description - Junior Data Analyst

Specializing in analyzing datasets obtained from various sensors (pressure sensors, inertial accelerometers, GPS units, audio sensors), identify trends, patterns, and insights from these diverse data sources and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

To work on programs that need to analyze data and report using custom proprietary tools.

Data Visualization: Informative visualizations, such as line graphs, scatter plots, and histograms, to effectively represent data trends and facilitate understanding.
Trend Identification: Analyze data to detect trends, patterns using data visualization tools and techniques to highlight significant trends..

Skillset:

Strong foundation in data analysis and a keen interest in working with sensor data. Proficient in data visualization and have a solid understanding of statistical methods for trend analysis. A proactive approach to learning and an eagerness to contribute to data-driven projects will be key to thriving in this role.

Ability to work on independent roles, but also a good team player.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
Understanding of Sensors: Fundamental understanding of how different sensors work and the types of data they generate, including pressure, acceleration, GPS, and audio signals.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to identify and interpret trends and patterns in data. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present complex data insights through visualizations and written reports. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Experience: Previous internship or academic projects involving data analysis, particularly with sensor data, are advantageous but not mandatory.
