Job Description:

Techademy Skills is looking for an experienced and passionate Economics and Business Studies Teacher to join our team as a freelance instructor. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality online lessons to students following the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) curriculum.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and well-structured IGCSE Economics/Business lessons via online platforms.
Prepare students for IGCSE examinations, including exam strategies, past paper practice, and syllabus coverage.
Provide clear explanations of economic concepts, real-world applications, and graphical analysis.
Assign and review homework, provide timely feedback, and monitor student progress.
Customize lesson plans to suit different learning styles and student needs.
Communicate effectively with students and (where applicable) parents on performance and development.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in Economics and Business, preferably IGCSE or international curricula.
Strong command of IGCSE Economics syllabus (Cambridge/Oxford/AQA).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards, etc.).
Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules.
