Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced English teacher to support the design and development of engaging educational content for students aged approximately 10 to 14 (Upper Primary to Form 1–2). The role focuses on advising on curriculum design, reviewing learning materials, and creating content for digital learning platforms. This is a part-time consulting opportunity, ideal for educators who are passionate about student engagement and innovative teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Consultation:

Advise on age-appropriate English learning objectives, skills progression, and teaching strategies.
Ensure materials align with typical English language learning goals for upper primary to junior secondary students.

Content Creation:

Design creative and structured learning materials such as:
Grammar and vocabulary worksheets
Reading comprehension passages with questions
Writing prompts and sample answers
Listening and speaking activity ideas
Games, quizzes, and storytelling tasks
Content Review & Feedback:
Evaluate and revise existing content for clarity, language level, and engagement.
Suggest improvements to ensure learning materials are interactive and student-centered.
Collaboration:
Participate in planning sessions or team meetings as needed (usually online).
Provide feedback to instructional designers, developers, or multimedia creators to bring content to life.
Optional Involvement:
Suggest ideas for video lessons, speaking activities, or short interactive projects.
Guide tone and format for AI-generated writing support tools or exercises.

Requirements:

Experience:

At least 10 years of English teaching experience, focusing on students aged 10–14 (Upper Primary to Form 1–2).
Experience in designing lesson plans, assessments, and classroom resources.

Skills:

Strong command of written and spoken English.
Excellent ability to break down grammar, writing, and reading concepts for younger learners.
Clear, concise writing and editing skills.
Familiarity with modern teaching methods and learner-centered approaches.
