Description

SmartStream's Managed Services Business seeks a Business Analyst with capital markets experience and a proven track record of execution working on enterprise technology initiatives. Assignments will support IT, Operations and Continuous Improvement development activities. Successful applicants will have experience working with internal and external clients, collecting and organizing data, have the ability to define collection methodology, templates, and tools, and be skilled at defining and prioritizing work in an efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities

record and analyze requirements to enable traceability to a desired customer outcome

dependencies and interrelationships among requirements, as well as any assumptions

tools that promote better understanding of the desired end-product such as visual aids, prototyping, and modeling tools

engage functional owners and other stakeholders professionally, without supervision, and with appropriate messaging

business case and impact analysis on implementing new changesand clearly articulate the 'as is', 'to be' and transitional states for impacted users and delivery teams with stakeholders to confirm accuracy and completeness between business units, technology teams and support teams to ensure the solution delivered meets all business needs and to avoid rework

needs and evaluate alternative business solutions

to the definition, design and delivery of solutions in accordance with specified scope, requirements, quality standards and target delivery dates

Key Skills

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience.

Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas, reconciliations

Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations

Ability to work in fast paced environment, keep pace with technical innovation.

Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members\

SmartStream TLM, Domain Knowledge - Investment Bank

Desirable Skills

ECBA Certification preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree or above from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
