We specialize in personalized academic support to help students reach their college admissions goals. Our team is made up of passionate educators committed to student success, and we’re looking to expand our network of skilled tutors for ACT prep.
Job Summary
We are currently hiring experienced ACT English Tutors to work with high school students preparing for the ACT exam. If you have a strong background in English grammar, punctuation, and rhetorical skills—and know how to teach standardized test strategies—we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 or small group tutoring focused on the ACT English section
- Teach grammar, sentence structure, rhetorical skills, and time management strategies
- Adapt lessons based on students' skill levels and test dates
- Track student progress and communicate results with families (if applicable)
- Maintain a supportive, engaging learning environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (English, Education, or related field preferred)
- 1+ year of experience tutoring ACT or similar standardized tests
- Strong command of ACT English content and strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using online platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
Preferred
- ACT English score in the 95th percentile or higher
- Prior experience with curriculum design or online tutoring tools
- Flexible evening/weekend availability
