Full job description

In this role you will build a flexible and scalable foundation for launching new business applications. We are seeking a strong Senior Java Developer with good technical expertise, to be responsible for the backend development distributed platform for one of the largest world-leading retailers. You will be working as a key member of this collaborative team with a group of experts recognized around the world. This is an excellent opportunity to play a role as a key contributor in creating the next generation of network-centric distributed and scalable architectures. We work with bleeding-edge technologies, including J2EE, building microservices, variety of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google cloud platform etc., OO Programming, using Agile Development Methodology and much more.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design and development of web application from requirements analysis to production.
Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; testing; etc.)
Analyze and improve application performance
Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks
Work in an Agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the key to success

Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Have 10 to 16 years of total work experience
Tech Stack :- Java 17, Spring Boot 3.0.6, Microservices, Maven, MS Azure(K8s, Functions), Splunk, NoSQL(Mongo DB, Cosmos DB), GraphQL(Netflix DGS 6.0.5).
Nice to have: docker, ubuntu image, Kubernetes
Strong ability to abstract complex problems to their essential components and design and implement elegant solutions for them
Robust OO Programming and OO Design concepts knowledge
Delivery Focused using Agile Development Methodology (Scrum/Kanban)
Need to be a team player while having the capacity to work independently
Strong analytical and logical skills including troubleshooting
Good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
Good English both verbal and written skills are a must
