Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Film Content Writer to join our content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting engaging, informative, and compelling film-related content for a variety of digital platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and video scripts. You should have a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of film, cinema culture, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Write captivating, SEO-optimized, and well-researched content related to films, including blogs, articles, social media posts, film reviews, video scripts, and promotional content.
Scriptwriting: Develop video scripts for film-related content such as reviews, behind-the-scenes features, interviews, promotional trailers, and social media video content.
Storytelling: Craft engaging narratives that resonate with film enthusiasts and target audience segments, keeping the content fresh, entertaining, and informative.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest film industry trends, new releases, film festivals, and cultural movements in cinema. Incorporate current events into content creation for higher audience engagement.
Content Strategy: Work closely with the content strategy team to develop content plans and campaigns that align with the client's objectives and overall digital marketing strategy.
SEO Optimization: Ensure all written content is optimized for search engines by using appropriate keywords, meta descriptions, and tags to increase visibility and engagement.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other content creators, designers, video editors, and marketing teams to develop multimedia content that enhances audience engagement across different digital platforms.
Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit your own content as well as content created by others to ensure high-quality, error-free output.
Client Communication: Engage with clients to understand their brand, messaging, and goals, ensuring the content created aligns with their vision and requirements.

Requirements:

Experience: 2+ years of experience in content writing, film journalism, or scriptwriting, preferably in a digital marketing or media environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Film Studies, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a focus on the film industry.
In-depth knowledge of film genres, directors, actors, and cinematic trends.
SEO writing and digital marketing knowledge.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content strategies.
Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar tools is a plus.
Creative Thinking: Ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas for engaging and viral content.
Passion for Film: Deep love for cinema, with knowledge of both mainstream and indie films across different genres, languages, and cultures.
Attention to Detail: Ability to write precise, error-free content that aligns with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Time Management: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
