Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced In-house Pharmacist Lead to manage and oversee all pharmacy-related operations within the hospital. This role ensures safe, effective, and timely dispensing of medications, regulatory compliance, and effective leadership of the pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the hospital pharmacy team including pharmacists, assistants, and support staff

Ensure accurate dispensing and storage of medications in compliance with medical and legal standards

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff for prescription accuracy and drug availability

Manage stock levels, procurement, and prevent shortages or overstocking

Implement and monitor SOPs for drug handling, expiry tracking, and safe disposal

Ensure compliance with NABH and DCI guidelines and healthcare regulations

Review prescriptions for drug interactions, dosage errors, and allergies
-
Oversee pharmacy documentation, billing, and medication reporting

Conduct training and audits to improve team performance

Collaborate with hospital admin for budgeting, vendor management, and cost optimization

Lead the adoption of digital pharmacy systems (if applicable)
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: B.Pharm or M.Pharm from a recognized institution

License: Valid Pharmacist Registration with the respective State Pharmacy Council

Experience:
-
Minimum 5–7 years in pharmacy, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role

3 years of clinical pharmacy experience (Required)

Hospital pharmacy protocols

Drug inventory and clinical pharmacology

NABH standards and pharmacy automation tools

Leadership, organizational, and communication skills
